Melio affiliate program FAQ
After you sign up, you’ll get a welcome email with your unique link. You’ll also get access to your affiliate dashboard where you’ll be able to customize your affiliate link and share it whenever you need it.
Anyone can be a Melio affiliate! Whether you have a top ranked site or just want to refer your friends, anyone can earn for referring new customers to Melio.
Businesses, accountants, and bookkeepers are considered referrals. If you need more clarification please read our terms and conditions.
We’ve simplified our affiliate program into two clear commission models:
Refer a business and earn $300
When you refer a business to Melio and their first completed payment via any payment method is $500+, you earn $300.
Terms:
- Your referral must sign up through your affiliate link.
- Your referral completes their first payment via any payment method (credit card, ACH, international, etc.), and the payment is $500+.
Refer an accounting firm and earn $600
When you refer an accountant, bookkeeper, or accounting firm that adds a client to their Melio account, and that client’s first completed payment via any payment method is $500+, you earn $600.
Terms:
- Your referral must sign up for Melio through your affiliate link.
- The accounting firm adds a new client (cannot be you) to their Melio account.
- That client completes their first payment via any payment method (credit card, ACH, international, etc.)and the payment is $500+ .

The Melio affiliate program is provided by PartnerStack and all payments are made through them. Melio approves all payments by the 7th of each month and payment is available via PartnerStack by the 13th of the following month. For more information about payments please read this article.
No. Refer as many businesses and accounting firms as you want. There’s no cap on your earnings.
While we allow, and even encourage, using your personal social media to share your link, any paid advertising activity (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc) is strictly prohibited. Violating these guidelines will result in removal from the program.
You’ll have access to banners, social media graphics, email templates, product screenshots, and messaging guidelines—all available in your affiliate dashboard. If you need something custom, reach out to your affiliate manager.
Once you join the program, you’ll have access to your personalized dashboard, where you’ll have access to your stats and our marketing tools.
Your tracking cookie lasts for 90 days. If someone clicks your affiliate link and signs up within that window, you’ll get credit for the referral.
Your dedicated affiliate manager is here to help with questions about the affiliate program, your payouts, or anything else. You’ll receive their contact information in your welcome email, and you can always reply to the affiliate emails.
You can also reach out through your affiliate dashboard. Open the drop-down menu on the top-right corner of your PartnerStack dashboard (next to your user name), and click on “Contact Melio”.
You can but you won’t be rewarded for it. You can’t use your own affiliate link and you will not be entitled to any reward if you refer yourself.
All referrals must sign up through your unique affiliate link. To ensure your referrals count and you get rewarded, please make sure they use your personal link.
Important: It’s crucial that your referral signs up via your affiliate link.
Please note, if your referral signed up via any other source, they won’t be considered as your referral, and you will not be entitled to any reward.
Only new users, who don’t have a Melio account count as successful referrals. If the user you referred already has a Melio account, your referral won’t count.
No. Sending the affiliate link will qualify as a referral only if the accounting professional you send the link to is from a different firm/business. You won’t be entitled to a reward for any members of your own firm/business joining Melio.
The link is in effect for 90 days from the date it has been clicked on. In order to count as a referral, the conditions mentioned above need to be met within the 90-day time limit.
No, Accountants would not be eligible to any kind of reward for referring their clients to Melio via the affiliate program.
