FAQ

Melio currently integrates with Xero, QuickBooks Online, and QuickBooks Desktop (QuickBooks Desktop support is only available for Boost and Unlimited users).

No. The sync process is triggered automatically in real time whenever an entity, such as a bill, payment, or vendor, is created, edited, or deleted in the accounting software or in Melio. This eliminates manual double entry, saves time, and reduces manual errors.

We perform a comprehensive two-way sync of the following entities:

  • Bills: Creation, mark as paid, edit or delete a bill, vendor name, multiple line items, category, product & service, class, location, amount and open balance, creation & due date, bill number, and invoice image.
  • Vendors: Vendor name & company name, address & phone number, email address & phone.
  • Payments: Vendor name, deduction date (scheduled date), payment amount, payment method, and payment memo.
  • Customers and Invoices are also synced.

Yes, after connecting, the user can disconnect the sync.

No. Melio is not shutting down. As of April 2025, Melio is one of the fastest growing AP/AR solutions in the US, serving over 100,000 business owners and accountants.
